Tarot4U is a digital tarot and numerology platform for personal reflection, education, and entertainment. This Privacy Policy explains what information Tarot4U may collect, why it is used, where it may be processed, and what choices are available. The operator can be contacted through our Contact Us form using the Privacy & Data Request subject.

In brief: We need certain information to operate accounts, deliver readings and subscriptions, and answer support requests. A birth date entered into the standalone Life Path calculator is processed in your browser and is not submitted by that calculator. Payment-card details are entered into Stripe, not Tarot4U's own card form. Optional Google Analytics is disabled until you choose to allow it on this website.

1. Scope and who operates this site

This notice applies to visitors and account holders using tarot4u.live and its associated pages, digital readings, account functions, online subscriptions, customer support, and Life Path numerology calculator. “Tarot4U,” “we,” “us,” and “our” refer to the operator of the Tarot4U website. We operate from the United States; provider infrastructure and users may be located in other countries. This notice does not cover unrelated websites reached through outbound links.

Formal operator identity and a direct service address may be required for particular jurisdictions. If you need this information for a legal notice, select Legal & Privacy Request on the contact form. The site operator should publish verified legal-business details before accepting live international orders.

2. What we collect

Information depends on the feature used:

• Accounts: email address, account name or profile details voluntarily provided, unique account ID, sign-in status, verification status, membership entitlements and related security/session records. Authentication credentials are handled by Supabase Auth rather than included in published site files.
• Readings: the cards and spread selected, questions and any text you enter, reading activity used to enforce daily limits, and saved readings or preferences. Some reading history may be kept in the browser rather than synchronized to another device; do not assume a reading is backed up unless the feature explicitly says it is.
• Memberships and billing: selected plan and billing interval, Stripe customer and subscription identifiers, status, dates, payment confirmation, billing/tax information as required for checkout, and support requests regarding charges. Stripe handles card collection; we do not request full card numbers through our contact form.
• Support: the name, email, topic, message, diagnostic information and optional context you provide in the contact form or support correspondence.
• Technical information: IP address and connection logs processed by hosting and security services, browser/device type, pages requested, approximate region, session and error information, and necessary cookies or browser storage.
• Optional analytics: with your consent, Google Analytics can receive website activity and technical details. Our intended tracking excludes tarot questions, complete readings, credit card details, and login credentials.
• Numerology: birth dates typed into the standalone Life Path calculator are calculated locally in your browser and are not submitted by the calculator, stored in a Tarot4U account, or sent to our server by that feature. Other website forms or features may process dates differently if you choose to provide them.

Do not enter other people's private details, financial credentials, intimate information, medical records, or sensitive identifying information into a tarot question unless you understand the implications and have the right to share it.

3. Why we process information

We use information to create and authenticate accounts, provide requested readings, enforce free and paid reading allowances, store or display saved content, process subscriptions and refunds, send essential transactional messages, prevent abuse, investigate faults, respond to support inquiries, meet tax and accounting requirements, and improve reliability. Optional website analytics help us understand aggregate site usage when consent has been given. We do not treat a tarot result as a verified profile of you or any other person.

4. Legal bases, where applicable

Where local law requires a legal basis, processing may rely on: performance of a contract for membership delivery, login and purchases; legitimate interests for site operations, fraud reduction, reliability and security subject to a balancing assessment; consent for optional analytics or other opt-in features; and legal obligations for necessary records, payments, tax and compliance. Available bases and rights may vary by location.

5. Accounts, sessions, cookies, and local storage

Supabase supports sign-in, session management and account records. Cookies or browser storage can remember sessions, preferences, daily usage indicators and your policy acknowledgement. If you disable essential local storage, signing in, saving readings or purchasing memberships may not function correctly. Clearing your browser may remove locally stored readings and settings without automatically cancelling a paid subscription. Signing out is not subscription cancellation. See the Cookies Policy.

6. Saved readings and user questions

Your reading question may reveal information about relationships, beliefs, health, finances or other personal matters. Only submit what you wish to include. Depending on the feature, records may be stored in your browser, account database or temporary application processing. Saved readings can be lost due to clearing browser data, device failure, software bugs, account deletion or third-party outages. Where a delete control is available, it removes the item from that interface; back-ups or transaction records may be retained temporarily where necessary or lawful.

7. Automated readings and symbolic interpretations

Tarot4U creates automated interpretations from selected cards and spread positions. These symbolic outputs are not factual determinations about a person, medical condition, financial event or future outcome. Automated or computer-assisted content may be inaccurate, incomplete, repetitive or unsuitable to a specific situation. If later features use an external AI provider to generate content, this notice must be updated to identify that processing before deployment.

8. Purchases and Stripe

Stripe processes checkout, payment authorization, billing information, fraud checks, tax-related details and subscription management under Stripe's own terms and privacy information. Tarot4U receives the transaction and customer identifiers, status and plan details needed to activate memberships and respond to payment questions. A failed or delayed Stripe webhook can temporarily delay membership activation; contact us with your account email and transaction reference, not your full card number. Purchases are subject to the Terms and Conditions.

9. Hosting, databases and other service providers

Our website infrastructure uses Netlify for deployment and hosting, Supabase for authentication and certain database functions, Stripe for subscriptions and payment processing, and Google Analytics only when you enable optional analytics cookies. A provider may process data in its own infrastructure, apply security measures and maintain logs under its own terms. Netlify Forms may process details submitted through the Contact Us form. Other external features, if introduced, will be identified as appropriate. We share only information reasonably needed for these services or as law requires.

10. International transfers

Tarot4U is accessible internationally. Your personal information may be transmitted or stored in the United States or other jurisdictions where our providers operate, potentially under laws different from those in your country. Where required, we will use legally recognized transfer safeguards or another lawful mechanism. This notice does not guarantee that all data remains within any particular country.

11. Children and age restrictions

Tarot4U's account-based personalized readings and paid subscriptions are intended for adults aged 18 or over. We do not knowingly solicit information from children for those services. If you believe a child submitted information improperly, contact us with enough details to investigate, but do not transmit additional sensitive information about the child.

12. Retention and deletion

Retention depends on the data and reason it exists. Account information may remain while the account is active and for a reasonable period afterward to address fraud, billing disputes or legal duties. Reading history remains until deleted from its storage location or removed under our retention practices. Payment and tax records may be retained for required accounting periods. Support correspondence and security logs are retained as reasonably necessary for support, safety and legal obligations. Browser-only information may persist until you clear site data; deleting a server account cannot remove an independent browser backup on another device.

13. Security measures and limitations

We use reasonable security measures, including encrypted connections, access controls, provider authentication, restricted secret keys, and administrative safeguards appropriate to the service. No internet platform can promise perfect security, uninterrupted access or permanent storage. Please use unique passwords, protect your devices, and notify us of suspected unauthorized access. Never submit passwords, secret keys or full card details in a support message.

14. Third-party links, embeds and providers

A link to a website outside Tarot4U does not imply that we operate it or control its privacy practices. Embedded assets or services may receive standard browser requests. Read their notices before submitting personal information. Social-media sharing or third-party tools may collect additional information under their own policies.

15. Email and marketing choices

Essential account, verification, payment and support messages may be sent to operate the service you requested. Promotional email, if offered, will be subject to applicable consent, identification and unsubscribe requirements. Creating an account does not automatically authorize unrelated marketing messages.

16. Cookie consent and choices

On this implementation of Tarot4U, optional Google Analytics scripts load only after you choose Allow analytics in the cookie controls. You can select Reject optional analytics or revisit your choice through Cookie choices at the bottom of a page. Necessary authentication and security storage may still operate. Consent settings stored on one browser may not carry to another. See Cookies Policy for details.

17. Your privacy rights

Depending on your residence and applicable law, you may have rights to request access to, correction of, deletion of, or a copy of your information; to object to or restrict certain processing; to withdraw consent; or to appeal certain decisions. Some rights have exceptions for payment records, security, another person's rights, or legally required retention. Requests can be made through the Contact Us form under Privacy & Data Request. We may need to verify account ownership before responding; please do not send identity documents unless specifically requested through a secure process.

18. California and other US state privacy rights

Where a state privacy law applies to our activities, eligible residents may exercise the rights provided by that law. This website does not currently offer a data broker service or claim to sell submitted tarot questions. Whether particular analytics data practices constitute “sharing” or targeted advertising under a state law depends on actual configuration; our default optional-analytics choice is intended to minimize unnecessary collection. Do not assume every state's privacy law applies to this business solely because the website can be visited there.

19. European and UK visitors

Visitors in the EEA and UK may have additional protections under applicable data-protection and electronic privacy laws, including rights regarding consent to nonessential cookies and certain international data transfers. If these laws apply to our operations, we will follow their requirements. A contact form is provided for exercising relevant privacy rights and raising concerns with the appropriate supervisory authority.

20. Security incidents and notifications

If we become aware of a security incident affecting personal data, we will investigate, contain the issue, and give notices required by applicable law. Timing and the form of a notice depend on the nature of the incident and governing rules. We may contact affected account holders through available communication channels.

21. Corrections to inaccurate information

If profile or subscription information is wrong, contact us and describe the discrepancy. Automated errors may arise from user input, coding mistakes, sync delays, third-party failures, human administrative mistakes or corrupted local storage. We will review requests and correct records we control where feasible and required by law. We cannot guarantee that symbolic interpretations will match a user's personal expectations.

22. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy when our site, technology, providers or legal obligations change. Material revisions will be identified by a new date and, when appropriate and reasonably feasible, additional notice or a renewed acknowledgement. A revised policy does not retroactively remove legal rights you held when information was collected.

23. Contact and complaints

For privacy questions, requests, billing data concerns or alleged unauthorized access, use the Tarot4U Contact Form and select the appropriate subject. Include the account email, a concise description and safe supporting references. If your request is about a privacy right, identify your jurisdiction if you are comfortable doing so. You may also contact a competent privacy authority if applicable law provides that right.
